1st Workshop on LCC hydration and characterization

The 1st workshop on hydration mechanisms and characterization of low carbon cements and concrete, jointly organized by UC Berkeley and EPFL, will take place between August 10th and 13th in Berkeley, CA.
Topics include:
- Cement hydration mechanisms
- Low carbon cement formulation
- X-ray diffraction
- Electron microscopy
- Isothermal calorimetry
- Thermodynamic modelling
- Physical analysis of powders (PSD, SSA)
- Low carbon concrete mixture design
The workshop will include theoretical discussions and practical sessions within the SCiM laboratory facilities at the UC Berkeley campus.

All other participants (industry, etc.): $2000
