SCiM (Zunino’s) Group @ UC Berkeley

The Science of Cementitious Materials (SCiM, pronounced ‘psy-em‘) group, led by Prof. Franco Zunino at UC Berkeley, conducts cutting-edge research on cement and concrete technologies. Our mission is to support the decarbonization of this critical industry while enhancing local supply chain resilience and long-term sustainability.

The laboratory activities include involvement in teaching duties at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley, research projects funded by government and industrial entities, and service to the community.
